My love for fitness came through my love of sports. From an early age, athletics were a huge part of my life. My hobbies include martial arts, tennis, swimming, hiking, and cycling. I became interested in personal training when i discovered my passion of helping others and working directly with people to make a difference. Personal training was my way of making a positive mark in others lives.
I am an ISSA certified personal trainer, and continuing to further my education so that I can deliver the best possible quality session to every client and their individual needs!
I began working out at a very young age. It was always important to my family that we always stay active. It wasn’t until middle school however, that I started lifting weights in my weight training program for football. Growing up in Ellijay, Georgia, football was king! Therefore, our coaches had us lifting weights in middle school to make sure we were good to go once we started playing for the high school team. I began to enjoy weight lifting in middle school because I was always a small kid and enjoyed putting on muscle and being strong.
Once, I got into high school it became even more intense! Coach Scott Ray, our offensive coordinator and weight training coach was one of my biggest inspirations and mentors. He designed detailed progressive strength training plans for every athlete.
