Why add toast? Having a complete breakfast consisting of all three macros is important to start the day. Carbohydrates are not something you want to skip in the morning because your glucose stores have depleted overnight from dinner, therefore eating nutrient-rich carbs will replenish the glucose and give you the energy you need to take on the day.
